Tammy Kaye Hancock, of 857 Arch Cook Road, Pelham, NC, went to be with her Savior on March 15th 2019. Tammy was born in Danville, VA on November 22nd 1967. She was the daughter of the late Percy Sigmon and late Reva M. Sigmon.

She was a great wife, homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She loved yardwork, cooking, gardening and her flowers. Tammy loved decorating for every occasion and holidays.

Tammy was a member of The Tabernacle, Danville, VA. She loved the church, pastors and congregation. Survivors include husband of 33 years of marriage Dexter W. Hancock, III (Billy); two sons, Dexter W. Hancock IV and Jeremy Lee Hancock (wife Breanna Steward Hancock); three sisters, Audrey S. Chilton, Kim Moore, and Annette S. Hancock (predeceased); one uncle, Roy Mullins; four grandchildren, Jorja , Turner, Gavin, and Elijah; four nephews, Michael Paul Chilton, Randall Chilton, “Lil” Sidney Moore, and Preston Moore; also, one niece, Jessica Moore Russell.

Memorial services will be held at The Tabernacle on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Danny Campbell and Rev. Joey Bray officiating.

Family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service. Family and friends can visit the residence at other times. Flowers may be sent to The Tabernacle.
