Born December 9, 1959 in Jackson, FL, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Charles Mitchell and Xelia Blaine Hickson, who survives. She was an only child.

In addition to her mother of Danville, VA, survivors include a god-daughter, Tanya Breedlove of Bassett, VA and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the residence of her mother, 461 Wilkerson Road, Danville, VA. Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced when completed.

Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Mitchell family.
