Born June 11, 1979 in Danville, VA, he was the son of Bruce E. Rice, Sr. and Murriell Adams Rice, who survives. He was married to LaShanda Johnson Rice, who survives.

In addition to his wife and parents all of Danville, VA, survivors include two daughters, Keona Price and Katana Johnson; four sons, Kymn Haley, Davyian Johnson, Brushawn Rice and Shawn Rice; two sisters, Tia Rice of Danville, VA and Briggette Rice of Yanceyville, NC and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the residence of his sister, Tia Rice, 623 Wimbish Drive, Danville, VA. Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced when completed.

Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Rice family.
