Carrie Lucille Strange Adams May 02, 1927 – February 10, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Carrie Lucille Strange Adams, 91, of 4869 Cascade Road, Cascade, VA, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC. Born May 2, 1927 in Pittsylvania County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Strange and Mary Tinsley Strange. She was married to the late Clyde Adams, Sr. Survivors include one daughter Carolyn Clark of Cascade, VA; three son’s Sherman Adams and Timothy Adams both of Cascade, VA; and Perry Adams of Danville, VA; three sisters, Marion Wheeler of Washington, DC, Barbara Clark of Silver Spring Maryland and Gladys Wilkerson of Danville, VA; one brother, Walter T. Strange of Cascade, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one son, Clyde Adams, Jr. The family will receive friends at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 1 PM from Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jermaine Parker, Eulogist.

Interment will follow Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 4-8 PM from Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home. Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Adams family.
