Ester O. Parkinson, 90, Lititz, formerly of Johnstown, died October 12, 2018 at Lancshire Hall. Born July 15, 1928, in Central City, daughter of Batista and Antonetta Trimeloni. Preceded in death by parents; husband, George; brothers, Raymond, Reno, Thomas, Joseph, Reynold, and Andy; sisters, Frances Andrew, and Lucy Rizzo; and daughter-in-law, Kathy.

Survived by sons, George, Jr., Windber; and Daniel (Deborah), Marietta; and grandchildren, Sheena (William Neff), Lancaster; and Eric (Jodie), Marietta. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, until she moved to Lititz, then was a member of St. John Neuman Catholic Church. Ester was a graduate of Shade Twp.

High School, Class of 1946, where she enjoyed playing violin in the school orchestra, and playing drums in the school band. She was a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1949. She retired as a registered nurse at Memorial Medical Center in 1978.

By request, there will be no public viewing. A funeral mass will be held at Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 10am at St. Andrew Church with Rev. Angelo Patti as celebrant.
