Scott M. Lamer, 28, Johnstown, died October 1, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center. He was born June 9, 1990, in Johnstown, son of James E. and Mary T. (Davis) Lamer. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Nerene Davis; and paternal grandparents, Sylvester and Agnes Lamer.

Along with his parents, he is survived by sisters, Jayme Lamer, and Kelly Buchan (Marc Kepple); children, Corsica, Ava, and Levi Lamer; Step-mother, Connie Lamer; the mother of his children, Jamie Freiwald; uncle and God father, Dan Davis; nieces and nephews, Aiden, Aubree, Kylie, and Seth; and aunts and uncles; and lifelong friend, Brandon Makuchan. He was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church. He worked as a cook at the Corner Coffee Shop.

There will be no public visitation. Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service Saturday at 7 pm at St. Matthews Anglican Church, Rev. Doug Blakelok, officiating.
