Ling – Maxine D., 80, Southmont, passed away on November 21, 2018. Born on March 10, 1938 in Johnstown, daughter of Stephen and Irene (Kucera) Topscher. Preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Stephen.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles E. Ling; children, Joshua C., Los Angeles, CA and Jessica A., Denver, CO; sister, Agnes, wife of Stephen Sakmar, Johnstown and several nieces and nephews. Maxine was a 1956 graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School. She was employed at Bethlehem Steel as a Key Punch Operator.

Maxine was a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and cooking. Maxine was a devoted caring mother, who loved her family dearly.

At Maxine’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. Private committal will be held at Richland Mausoleum. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
