Margaret Mary (Engbert) Case, 89, formerly of Westminster MD, currently of Johnstown, died November 27, 2018, at Laurelwood Care Center. She was born February 21, 1929, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Cyril Bernard and Margaret (Beiter) Engbert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Richard Case; son, Patrick; brother, Cyril “Buddy”; sister, Rita; and son-in-law, Vern.

She is survived by her children, Richard, and wife, Nancy; Josephine; Daniel; and Gregory, and wife, Patricia; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Emma; Josephine; and Theresa; and daughter-in-law, Carrie, widow of Patrick. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She was an avid reader, letter writer, and enjoyed religious programs on TV and meeting new friends.

She graduated from Johnstown Catholic High School, and from Seton Hill College. She retired after 38 years from St. John’s School in Westminster. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Henderson Funeral Home East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., where vigil for the deceased will be held.

Funeral mass will be at 1 pm Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Rev. David S. Peles, celebrant. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
