Obituary for Esther Billia Lorengo Esther Billia Lorengo passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at her home in Butte. She was born Saturday, August 10, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. The family moved to Italy where she started her education.

They moved to Brooklyn, New York in the 1930’s and Ester came to Montana when she was only 16 years old. She married George P. Lorengo in Boulder on March 15, 1947 and he preceded her in death on October 6, 1994. Ester was a wonderful stay-at-home mother who kept very close and dear relationships with her friends.

She was honest to the bone, and always told it the way she saw it! She was a longtime and active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Parish. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Victor Lorengo of Butte, Frederick and Charlotte Lorengo of Anaconda and George Lorengo of Butte, daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Jim Staudenmayer of Butte, seven grandsons, one granddaughter, seventeen great-grandchildren and one sister, Delores Valenti of New York.
