Obituary for Eugene “Gene” C. Huth Eugene “Gene” C. Huth, 69, of Fond du Lac, died on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at his residence. He was born on January 21, 1949, in Fond du Lac, the son of Clifford and Shirley Leavens Huth. He graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School.

On February 17, 2003 he married Suzanne “Sue” Holida in Fond du Lac. Gene was a very proud and patriotic person. He served in the U.S. Army and did two tours in Vietnam as a helicopter mechanic.

He worked various jobs in maintenance and auto mechanic. He enjoyed watching Nascar, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and bullfighting. He is survived by his wife, Sue Huth of Fond du Lac; four children: Brian Huth, Michelle (Audrey) Huth, Jessica (Tony Mason) Huth of Fond du Lac, Racheal Huth of Fond du Lac; one step-son, Gino Campagna of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren: Bella, Tony Jr., Lettyanna, Tabitha, Carissa and Brian Jr.; one great-grandchild, Kyler; his siblings: Kathy (Christine Gillespie) Huth of Elgin, IL, Mary Jo Roeder of Fond du Lac, Richard (Julie) Huth of Wisconsin Dells and Mark Huth of Fond du Lac.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Michael and David, his sister Patricia and his great-grandson, Tryten. VISITATION: Friends may call on Thursday, May 10, 2018, from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Private family services will be held at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel.

Burial will take place at Rienzi Cemetery. American Legion Trier-Puddy Post #75 will conduct military graveside services. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Eugene “Gene” C. Huth please visit our Sympathy Store.
