Eugene H. Panzer, 85, went to his eternal home on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Eugene was born on January 5, 1933, the son of the late Herman and Vera (nee Koepke) Panzer. On April 16, 1955, he was united in marriage to Anne Hallmann.

Anne preceded Eugene in death on May 14, 2018. Eugene was in the Navy on the aircraft carrier USS-LEYTE (CV-32) from the years 1950-1953. After returning, Eugene took pride in his work ethic.

Over the years his career consisted of being a private milk haler and farmer. He was also employed at Tennies Construction and Advanced Cast Stone. After retirement, Eugene continued to keep a hobby farm, as he had a love for a variety of different animals.

Eugene also enjoyed keeping a garden of fresh produce that he shared with friends and family. He also enjoyed reminiscing about the past and sharing stories with his family. Those Eugene leaves behind to cherish his memory are his two sons, Douglas (Annette) Panzer of Plover and Jeffery Panzer of Kewaskum; seven grandchildren, Jessica (Craig) Sumter, Jake (Kim) Panzer, Ian (Reanne) Panzer, Ashley Panzer (fiancé, Edward Johnson), Heather Sprifke, and Jessica and Nathan; seven great-grandchildren, Kylee Sprifke, Karlee Albert, Ava Schrauth, Kamryn Albert, Anna Panzer, Flynn Panzer, and Maggie Panzer; three brothers, Herman (Nancy) Panzer, Dan (Diane) Panzer, and Alvin Panzer; a brother-in-law, Paul (Phylis) Hallmann; two sisters-in-law, Louise Devine and Stella Hallmann; other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, Eugene was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald (Sally) Panzer; a sister-in-law, Janet Panzer; three brothers-in-law, Charles Hallmann, Willie Hallmann and Jack Devine and his parents-in-law, Paul and Anna Hallmann.
