Our beloved, Eunice Alverta Foreman Tillett, age 100, of 617 Woodland Church Road, Hertford, NC, departed from this earthly life suddenly, on Monday, September 24, 2018.

Arrangements are pending at this time. Mother Eunice leaves behind a legacy of love for: three daughters, Louise Reid (Horace), Lavonne James (Carlton) and Jantfere Tillett, all of Hertford, NC; four sons, Wilbert Tillett (Julia), Clifton Tillett (Catherine) and Hardie Tillett (Linda), all of Hertford, NC and Donnell Tillett (Jennifer) of Elizabeth City, NC; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Final Care and Compassionate Services are being expressed to the Foreman and Tillett families by Mitchell Funeral Care and Cremations.

“When in service for my Lord dark may be the night, But I’ll cling more close to Him, He will give me light; Satan’s snares may vex my soul, turn my thoughts aside; But my Lord goes ahead, leads whate’er betide”.
