Eunice Ann Yoder, 87, of DeGraff, passed away at 4:07 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Hospice of Miami County, surrounded by her family. She was born in Bellefontaine on December 21, 1930, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Martha (McColloch) Stevens. On February 27, 1949 in DeGraff, she married Charles Edward “Bud” Yoder and he preceded her in death on November 15, 2011.

She is also preceded in death by a sister, Janet Herren and a granddaughter-in-law, Rachel Kinninger. She is survived by three children; Steve (Judy) Yoder of South Charleston, OH, Pam (Joe) Kinninger of Sidney, and Patti (Gary) Leiss of Quincy, seven grandchildren; Lisa (Scott) Hart, Amy (Cliff) Mott, Beth (Rocky) Bryan, Adam (Jennifer) Kinninger, Michael Kinninger, Dustin (Sarah Brown) Leiss, and Megan (Mike) Melnyk, seven great-grandchilren; Nathan Yelton, Matthew Mott, Charlotte Bryan, Katherine Bryan, Eva Bryan, Evelyn Kinninger, and Ethan Kinninger, and one great-great grandson, Zentely Yelton, a half-brother, Chuck Stevens of DeGraff and several nieces and nephews. Eunice was a long-time member of the DeGraff United Methodist Church.

She taught kindergarten at the American Legion, DeGraff from 1960-1966 and later volunteered with the Mary Rutan Hospital Guild. She enjoyed sewing, watching sports, camping and fishing with her husband, and spending time with her family. After her husband’s retirement, they spent 18 winters in Tavares, FL, where she directed the church choir.

Pastor Mike Mitchell will officiate a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes Street, DeGraff, Ohio. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff.
