Obituary for Evalee Churches Evalee Churches, 95, of Beloit, WI, died Saturday, September 29, 2018 in her home after a lengthy illness. She was born July 18, 1923 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Fred R. and Etha (Field) Fogle. Lee was a graduate of Milton College.

She married David S. Churches on July 6, 1943 in Beloit, WI. He predeceased her on March 23, 1988. Lee was employed by Blackhawk Technical College as a teacher, retiring in 1988.

She was a member of the Beloit Noon Kiwanis Club, Red Hat Society and Bread for the World. Lee was also a very active member of Sun Valley Presbyterian Church where she was a deaconess, belonged to church circles, study groups, played the organ, taught Sunday school and bible study. Lee was a Humane Society board member for 37 years.

She was a was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. Survivors include her children, Carolyn Hounsell of Antioch, IL, and Kevin (Ann) Churches of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Heather Churches and Seth Churches; great grandchildren, Carly, Trenton, Trinity and Braedon; and brother, Jack Fogle of Beloit, WI. She was predeceased by her parents, sisters Doreen Atkins and Audrey Schwebke and brother Arnold Fogle.

A time of honor for Lee will be held during the 10:30 a.m. Worship service on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Sun Valley Presbyterian Church, 1650 Sun Valley Drive, Beloit, WI, with Reverend David Ewing officiating. Following the service, a visitation of remembrance will be held in the fellowship hall. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin or Sun Valley Presbyterian Church. Upcoming Events Service , OCT 14.
