Obituary for Ann T. Maltese Ann Theresa Maltese, 98, of Beloit, WI, died Friday, November 9, 2018 at Pioneer Court. She was born July 10, 1920 in South Beloit, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Nettie (Milatzo) Derone. Ann married Rocco Maltese on April 19, 1952 in St. Peter Catholic Church.

He predeceased her on February 22, 2012. Ann was formerly employed by the Rock County Register of Deeds office and retired from Fairbanks Morse in 1981 after 39 years. She was a member of the Fairbanks Morse Quarter Century Club, Senior bowling league, Grinnell Hall Seniors and Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.

Ann was a former member of the Fairbanks Morse Twilight Golf League and the Rock Valley Chapter of American Business Women’s Association where she was named woman of the year in 1984. She enjoyed traveling. Survivors include her nephews, Frank (Jody) Brown, Dennis Brown, James J. (Melba) Parma, Charles Maltese and Joseph (Peggy) Parma; great nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parent, sisters, Caroline Russo and Angeline (James B.) Parma, brothers Eugene Derone and Paul Derone, nephew Rocco A. Maltese. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Ann will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 2222 Shopiere Road, Beloit, WI, with Fr. Michael Resop officiating.

Entombment will be in Mt. Thabor Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation of remembrance will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Friday in the church.

Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Beloit Regional Hospice. Upcoming Events Visitation , NOV 16.
