Obituary for Richard W. Anderson Richard W. Anderson, 66, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, December 23, 2018 at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI. He was born March 18, 1952 in Beloit, WI, the son of Milford W. and Evelyn Marie (Mercer) Anderson. Richard was a graduate of South Beloit High School, South Beloit, IL.

He married Mary Lee Johnson. She predeceased him on May 23, 2006. Richard was employed as a mechanic by Pepsi Co. for over 25 years and retired from Transport America.

He was also a mechanic for the Pepsi late model race car and loved NASCAR. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, going to car shows and spending time with his grandson, Bently. Richard was also a mechanic for the Pepsi late model race car.

Survivors include his son, Zachary (Kaitlyn) Anderson of Beloit, WI; grandsons, Bently Anderson and Dallas King; sister, Elena Thomas of South Beloit, IL; aunt, Dorothy Duhr of Janesville, WI; uncle, Calvin Cooper of Waupun, WI; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Milford E. “Andy” (Barbara) Anderson, infant sister Jolene Anderson, brother-in-law George Thomas, aunts and uncles. Funeral service for Richard will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Norman Starks officiating.

Visitation of remembrance will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
