Obituary for Roger E. Cox Roger E. Cox, 76, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, December 23, 2018 in his home. He was born November 22, 1942 in Rockford, IL, the son of Raymond and Lillian Cox. Roger married Vicky Sorenson on January 24, 1971 in the Church by the Side of The Road, Rockton, IL.

Roger retired from Chrysler as an electrician. He enjoyed spending time with his family and dogs, family cookouts, fishing, hunting, traveling to Las Vegas, and playing bingo. Roger was a great cook making the best creampuffs and soup.

He was a 30 year member of the Janesville Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #197 and a 2 year member of the Janesville Elks Lodge. Roger was a dreamer who wanted the best for his family. He loved serving the under privileged and cooking meals for the homeless.

Roger will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his loving wife, Vicky of Beloit, WI; children, Dawn (Lee) Norman of Mesa, AZ, Tammy (Mike) Cary of Darien, WI, and Rod Cox of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Shane, Casey, Danielle, Berisha, Tyler, Brandon, Cortney and Brittney; great grandchildren, Cade, Aries and Ava; sisters, Marilyn (Larry) Holmer of Bemidji, MN, Elona (Curt) Ogden of Roscoe, IL, and Anita (Ernie) Turner of New Milford, IL; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and son, Randy.

Memorial service for Roger will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Reverend Jack Way officiating. Visitation of remembrance will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service Sunday in the funeral home. Upcoming Events Visitation DEC 30.
