Eve A. Natonek (nee Pavich), age 88, born into eternal life on Thursday, July 26, 2018. Eve is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Stanley Natonek; children, Louise Natonek and Stan (Kim) Natonek; grandchildren, Courtney, Stanley and Lance Natonek; brother, Robert (Dolores) Pavich; sister, Ann Christensen; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Louise (nee Oreskovic) Pavich; Siblings, John (Mary) Pavich, Steve (Florence) Pavish, Mike (Catherine) Pavich, Peter (Joanne) Pavich, Joseph (Manda) Pavich, Nick (Rosemary) Pavich, Louise (Frank) Steriotti, Rose (Charles) Lorenz, Mary (Marian) Dorich; brother-in-law, Louis (Harriet) Natonek; and sister-in-law, Dorothy (Paul) Thomas.

Eve retired from the Joliet Arsenal after over 10 years of service and was also employed by Lyons Township High School. She proudly earned two college degrees after the age of 40. Eve enjoyed to garden, growing tomatoes and marigolds, and made quite possibly the best apple pie in the world.

She also enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears but her dear grandchildren were the light of her life. Eve was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who was loved by all and will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, masses said in Eve’s name would be appreciated.

A celebration of Eve’s life will begin on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Anne Catholic Church in Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Risen Lord Cemetery in Oswego.
