Richard P. Werner Sr. Age 81, passed away Friday July 13, 2018, at Lakewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Survived by three sons Richard Werner Jr., Clayton Carl Werner and Frederick (Lori) Werner; one grandson Alex Thomas Werner; one brother Donald (Connie) Werner; former wife Connie Werner-Welsch. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents Carl and Dorothy (Kiefel) Werner. Born in Peru, Illinois, living in Joliet most of his life. Retired Pipefitter with Local #422 and C Bud Werner & Sons Maintenance and Installation Service.

Visitation Friday, July 20, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Saturday July 21, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Peru City Cemetery, 2121 Shooting Park Rd. , Peru, IL.
