Obituary for Donna C. Pinkston Donna C. Pinkston (nee Grossklaus)- of Joliet, IL. , passed away July 3, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice, after an extended illness. Age 85.

Survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Rodney D. Pinkston Sr., daughter Lin C. (James) Nelson of Shorewood, son Rodney D. Pinkston Jr., of Columbus, Ohio, cherished granddaughter Jamie L. Nelson, and sister June E. (Clyde dec. ) Firestein of Agoura Hills, California. Many beloved nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her parents Carrie H. Grossklaus (nee Gould) and Frank H. Grossklaus and her brothers Robert G. (Marian dec. ) Grossklaus and Boyy F. (Jolene dec. ) Grossklaus.

She worked many years for the Will County Credit Bureau, and was retired for 30 years from Natural Gas Pipeline. She was known for her many crafts especially needlework, and enjoyed giving them to others. Donna passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

She was very grateful for a full and happy life. The family would like to thank the infusion nurses at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet Area Community Hospice, and her in-home caregivers who all gave great care to Donna, especially Sue Stanley. Memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
