Obituary for Michael E. Tomlinson Michael E. Tomlinson – passed away peacefully at his home, Saturday, June 30, 2018. Age 89 years. Survive his three daughters Carol (Jarvis) Roark, Mary Tomlinson (John Torres) and Loretta (James dec.

) DeMoss. Nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-grandchild and his sister-in-law Millie DeLong. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by his loving wife Earlene ‘Mickey’ Tomlinson, his son Tim Tomlinson, his parents Frank and Catherine DeLong, one sister Loretta Cook and two brothers Robert Tomlinson and Richard DeLong. Michael was a lifelong resident of Joliet, he worked for Joliet Gravel Co. and retired from Joliet Wrought Washer in Rockdale. Michael proudly served in the Marine Corp.

He was also a Commander with the Rockdale VFW. After retirement he loved working in his yard, gardening and woodworking. Visitation will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 from 11-1 at Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home 2320 Black Road, Joliet, Il.

Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL. 60431 or National Multiple Sclerosis Society will be appreciated.
