Obituary for Thomas E. Troutman Thomas E. Troutman “Tom” Age 78 years, died Friday, September 28, 2018 at Joliet Area Hospice Home with his family by his side. Born in Joliet on May 29, 1940. He was in management for Hahn Electric for many years and later retired from ComEd.

Preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn (nee Hahn) Troutman; a daughter, Mary Jo Minniti; his parents, Thomas and Marjorie (nee Mitchell) Troutman. Survived by two daughters, Lorri (Mark) Ferbend and Terri (Craig) Sayles; his son-in-law, Michael Minniti; six grandsons, Nicholas and Brandon Minniti; Dave and Grant Ferbend; Blake and Cade Sayles. One brother, James (Betty) Troutman; one sister, Bette Temper and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Tom thoroughly enjoyed his times vacationing in Florida. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Per Tom’s personal wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and private family services were held.

Inurnment will take place privately next to his wife at Hills of Rest Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home and Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
