Steven J. Zielke, born November 2, 1960, age 57, passed away at his home in Palm Harbor, FL on August 28, 2018 after a long battle with a brain tumor. He is survived by his partner of 19 years Ernie Martin; his loving parents Richard and Theresa Zielke of Plainfield, IL; his brother Michael (Cheryl) Zielke of Marengo, IL; and two sisters Joyce (Gary) Janssen of Joliet, IL and Susan (Glen) Hoffmann of Plainfield, IL; his seven nieces and nephews, Melanie, Nicholas, Lauren, Ashley, Madelyn, Andrew and Joseph; a great-niece Vivian and great-nephew Jaxson; his loving Aunt Virginia Handzel and her children Barbara and Bob as well as many other cousins. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.
