Blanca C. Borrego (nee Contreras) age 79, born March 5, 1939 passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5th, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Blanca is survived by her loving children, Manuel (Juanita) Borrego, Jr. and Gloria (Marvin) Borrego; grandchildren, Adam and Manuel Borrego III, Eric Miller, David and Jessica Borrego; great-grandchildren, Korbin, Mariah, Eric III, Jayla, Brooklyn and Lincoln; brothers, Jose (Victoria) Contreras of Plainfield, Juan (Terri) Contreras of Lubbock, TX; sisters, Beatrice Ballejo and Oralia Suniga; brother-in-law, Julio Borrego of Donna, TX; sisters-in-law, Juany Nino of Joliet, Lorraine Borrego of Joliet, Louisa Borrego of McAllen, TX, and Linda Borrego of Joliet; nephews, Joe (Jan) Contreras, Emilio Ballejo Jr., Robert & Jesse Suniga, Joseph (Nicole) Contreras, Frank (Heidi) Borrego, Jr., Raul Borrego, Arturo Jr., and Fidel (Lily) Nino; nieces, Estella (Kent) Conlon, Diana (Kevin) Gehrig, Alicia Contreras, Debbie Contreras, Sandy (Jeff) Stukel, Patricia (Jerry) Campos, Terri (Valentino) Pena, Louisa Ballejo, Elaine (Brian) DeMien, and Michelle Suniga, Yolanda Borrego, Nancy (Andres) Nunez, Linda Aguirre, Lydia Nino, Irene Nino, Lupe Borrego and Casey Borrego; daughter-in-law, Janet Borrego and many great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel Borrego, Sr.; son, David Borrego; parents, Roberto & Hilaria Contreras; In-laws, Timoteo & Delia Borrego; brothers-in-law, Tim Borrego, Frank, Roy, and Ruben Borrego, Emilio Ballejo of Houston, TX, Tony Suniga Of Shallowater, TX, and Arturo Nino of Joliet; and sisters-in-law Mary Lou and Ines Borrego; nephew, Rene Contreras and Victor Borrego; nieces, Delia Garcia and Celeste Contreras.

Blanca was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of Blanca’s life will begin on Friday, July 13th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet.

Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Joliet. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 12th, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home. Obituary and Tribute Wall for Blanca C. Borrego at www.
