William J. Middleton Age 89, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Survived by his five children David (Kim) Middleton, Mark (Lisa) Middleton, Timothy (Deneen) Middleton, Suzanne (Paul) Lopez and Sarah (Al) Petro; grandchildren Drew (Lisa) Middleton, Whitney Middleton, Kristen (Keith) Sterr, Matthew (Kristin) Middleton, Adam Middleton, Brett (Sommer) Middleton, Eric Lopez, John (Elizabeth) Lopez, Nicole (Edger) Martinez and Elizabeth Petro; great grandchildren Blake, Ryan, Colin, Mayla and Troy Preceded in death by his wife Kaye (Carlson) Middleton; parents John and Anna (Baber) Middleton; two sisters Estelle Erickson and Josephine Chipman. Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident.

U.S. Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Salerno Bay. Co-owner and business partner with his son Mark, of Middleton Overhead Doors. Member of First Presbyterian Church.

Funeral Services will be held, Thursday July 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church. Inurnment with Military Honors will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 5-7 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
