Clemon Breath, Jr. passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 after an extended illness. Clemon was born on February 16, 1954 in Oklahoma to Climon Breath, Sr. and Maggie Breath (Plummer). He attended Fox High School in Fox, Oklahoma, graduating in 1972.

After graduation, he left Tatums, Oklahoma and moved to Illinois. He married Shirley Breath (Hamilton) in 1974. This union produced three children.

Clemon worked at Olin Chemical from 1972 to 1991. After his career at Olin, Clemon started a twenty-one-year career in the trucking industry until his retirement in 2012. Clemon, or Uncle Jr. as he was lovingly called, will be remembered as a hard-working father, devoted husband, loving grandfather, and for his outspoken nature.

He enjoyed spending time with his family in Joliet and frequent trips to Oklahoma. Clemon took pleasure in grilling, playing dominos and cards, fishing, and his beloved Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brothers, Donald, Clarence, Glenn, David and one sister.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Shirley Breath; three sons, Anthony (Tatiana), Michael (Andrea) and Jeremey all of Joliet, IL; four brothers, Carl O. (Geneva) Breath, Richard Breath, Estus “Pete” (Elaine) Breath Sr., Terry Breath, Lorenzo (Letitia) Breath; three sisters, Bessie Swindall, Mary Breath, and Jessie Breath; three grandchildren, Braylon, Cadence, and Madison; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
