She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl J & Gladys M (Shumaker) Fruth, husbands, Albert Folk and Rev.

Ivan Thompson, sister Donna and brother in law Ralph Loudenslager, daughter in law, Kathy Folk. She is survived by her brother Carlton Fruth (Paula), Sister Carol Gainsley, children, Marilyn J Clevenger (Bob), David A Folk, Sandra K Weiand, and step-son, Rev. Dean Thompson(Norma), 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins & a host of friends.

She was a charter member of the Mundelein Church of the Nazarene where she has served faithfully in many capacities: Sunday School teacher, pianist, choir member, board member, VBS director, She was awarded our denomination’s Distinguished Service Award. The church’s “official” greeter, she continued to extend her great hugs until her death. She was one of our strongest prayer warriors and we will greatly miss that support.

Visitation is from 4-8 PM Friday January 11, 2019 at the Kristan Funeral Home PC 219 West Maple Ave. (2 blocks west of Rt. 45 on Rt.

176) Mundelein. Funeral service is 11 AM Saturday at The Church of the Nazarene 1515 West Maple Ave. Mundelein.

Interment Ivanhoe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers her desire is that donations be made to International Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, 17001 Prairie Star Parkway, Lenexa, KS 66220-9800. website ncm.org , 800-310-6362.
