Obituary for Fladge Teresa Hagan Fladge Teresa Birkhead Hagan, 95, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at Wellington Parc. She was born in Daviess County on September 15, 1922 to the late James C. Birkhead, Sr. and Catherine Heady Birkhead. Fladge, a retired caregiver, was a member of Good Shepherd Church and a local non-denominational home worship group for over 35 years.

She enjoyed singing and dancing, and praising her Lord. Along with her parents, Fladge was preceded in death by her husband Joseph R. Hagan, Sr., who died in October 1980, her son, Joseph R. Hagan, Jr., her brothers: George I. (Eva) Birkhead; James (Lou) C. Birkhead; Jr.; and Thomas Birkhead. Fladge is survived by her children: Joyce (Warren) Haun of Slidell, Louisiana; Sharon Hagan (Jesse) Chanley of Owensboro; and Linda (Jerome) Alford of Marion, Arkansas.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jay (Paula) Hazel; Joelle (Robert) Leali; Jennifer (Chris) Rone; H. Wilson Bowman; T. Neil Bowman; Jarred (Melissa) Bowman; Rick S. (Chelsea Yewell) Bowman; and Chris (Carrie) Holder, and her best friend and caregiver, Betty Thompson. 35 great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, Jeannie Birkhead. Services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with Tim Shockley and Michael Smith officiating.

Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 p. Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Good Shepherd Church; 3031 Bittel Road; Owensboro, Kentucky 42301.
