Obituary for Betty Sue Caraway Betty Sue Caraway, 80, of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at her home. She was born in Calhoun, Kentucky on March 21, 1938 to the late John Gordon Epley and Dora Elizabeth Sandefur Epley. Betty was a homemaker, LPN of McLean County Hospital and a member of the Christian faith.

She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, crossword puzzles, was an excellent pie and cookie maker, and loved to read. Along with her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Camilis Caraway, and her brother Bobby Epley. She is survived by her children John Clay (Linda) Durbin of Calhoun, Kentucky, Jesse Scott (Marie) Caraway of Calhoun, Kentucky, and Cindy Caraway Taylor of Owensboro, Kentucky.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Annie (Joe) Deaton, Abi (Drew) Crabtree, Aaron Durbin, Cathryn Taylor, Leah Mae Taylor, Isaac Caraway, and Macie Caraway; and her brother Wayne Epley of Oklahoma. Services will be 11:30 am Friday at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Calhoun, Kentucky. Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Caraway.
