Donald Keith Bishop, 70, of Owensboro died Saturday, July 21, 2018. He was born on February 23, 1948 in Daviess County to the late Joseph Bishop and Ruby Basham Bishop. Don was retired from Colonial Bakery and was a member of Harvest Baptist Temple.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering with lawnmowers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Carolyn Dechman, Bob Bishop, and Jon Dee Bishop. Survivors include his children, Ruby Jean (Joseph) Mayfield, Joseph (Cassie) Bishop, Michael (Melissa) Bishop, and Matthew (Angel) Bishop; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Max (Brenda) Bishop, Bill (Sharon) Bishop, Jim (JoAnn) Bishop; a sister, Sandra Bishop; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11:30am on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Greg Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow in Sorgho Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm and on Thursday from 10:00am until 11:30am at the funeral home.
