CLEARFIELD: Florence Lamoreaux Kite Hill, 93, passed away Friday, November 13, 2018. Florence married LaVerne Hugh Kite on November 9, 1943 in Provo, Utah. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1967.

They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, March 19, 1969. She married Fred Alvin Hill on November 20, 1992 in Clearfield, Utah. He preceded her in death December 9, 2016.

Florence was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed serving in the scouting program and doing genealogy. She served two missions; one while a widow in Albequerque, New Mexico and another with her husband, Fred, in Washington, D.C.

She also served with Fred as Temple workers for 16 years. Surviving are her children, Gary, Roberta (Skip) Waugh, Allan (Paula), Lori Errigo, Jack (Louise), Rick (Amy), 30 grandchildren, 78 Great-Grandchildren, and 35 Great-Great-Grandchildren and a sister, Nina Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her husbands, LaVerne and Fred, son David (LaRae), four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Pheasant Brook Ward, 205 South Angel Street, Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit with family Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah, and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
