Obituary for Ms. Florence Mae Edwards Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Ms. Florence Edwards, 63, who entered eternal rest, Monday, January 7, 2019 at Lady of the Oaks Retirement Manor in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park.

Ms. Edwards is survived by four siblings, Rosa Lee Arnold of Opelousas, LA, John Harrison, Jr. of LA, Olivia Gross of Los Angeles, CA and Gwen Harrison Layssard (Joseph Roberts) of Youngsville, LA and a host of extended family members and friends Ms. Edwards was preceded in death by her parents, John & Stella Harrison; two brothers, Walter and Richard Harrison. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.
