FLOYD LEE NEWTON, JR. age 66, of Semora, NC died Sunday morning, January 20, 2019 at his home. Mr. Newton was born August 25, 1952 in Person County, NC son of the late Floyd Lee Newton, Sr. and Dorothy Jean Woody Newton who survives.

He was a carpenter and also had a landscaping business. Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter, Amy Nicole Newton, grandson, Ty Copeland Davis, two sisters, Joan N. Fitz & husband, Taylor, and Nancy N. Armfield & husband, Marty. No services are planned at this time.
