MOLLIE SANDRA ALLEN BREEZE age 78, of 596 Flat River Church Road, Roxboro, NC died Wednesday afternoon, January 9, 2019 at Duke Regional Hospital. Mrs. Breeze was born August 11, 1940 in Person County, NC, daughter of the late Nicholas Walter Allen & Alma Sue Berry Allen Hicks. She recently retired from The Homestead Steakhouse after 32 years of service.

Mollie also worked previously at Centel, Crown Craft, as a teacher’s assistant, was a member of Somerset Baptist Church, and was an avid Tar Heel fan. Surviving are two daughters, LaNita Breeze & husband, Mark Clayton of Roxboro, NC, Robin B. Coleman & husband, Elmo of Rougemont, NC, four grandchildren, Alexandra Breeze Clayton-Porter & husband, Alec, Carter Elizabeth Coleman, Anderson Breeze Clayton, Zoe Montgomery Coleman, sister, Rebecca Sue Allen Mooney, and brother, Nicholas Walter “Nickie” Allen & wife, Hilda. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Breeze is preceded in death by a son, Russell Laws “Rusty” Breeze, sister, Nannie Ruth Allen Hall, and brother, Richard Anderson “Dock” Allen.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Allen Cherry officiating. Private interment will follow in the Allen Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and guests from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at the funeral home and other times at the home of LaNita Breeze and Mark Clayton, 546 Flat River Church Road, Roxboro, NC. Pallbearers will be Andy Chambers, Brandon Chambers, Joey Fuller, Shaun Harris, Steve Norton, and Chris Whitfield. Arrangements are by Strickland and Jones Memorial Funeral Services, 1810 Durham, Road, Roxboro, NC 27573.
