Folline Guilford, 82, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019. She was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Elizabeth and J.B. Schuyler. Folline was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and a friend to all.

She enjoyed working in her yard, and loved animals. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with friends and family. She started working at WOLS Radio Station at the age of 19.

Folline worked there for 27 years before moving to Probate Court where she retired after 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Guilford; step-father, J.C. Lofton; step-mother, Ida Ree Schuyler; grandmother, Louise Ward; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Donald L. Gassaway; brother and sister-in-law, Mary Ann and Don Ely. Mrs. Folline leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law, Morgan and Cynthia Guilford; niece and nephew, Laura and William Lawson; great-nieces, Brittanny and Weber Mimms, Jennifer and Parker Mimms; great-great-niece, Lelia Mimms; half-sisters, Alex (Dennis) Munden and Jennie Schuyler; special cousin, Ruth Fraley, and also many, many good friends who were like family to her.

Memorials may be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church, 524 S. Ebenezer Road, Florence, SC 29501, where she was a member. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with Rev. David Wike officiating.
