Forestine Jones Walton, 73, of Martinsville, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born August 2, 1945, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Arthur Dillard Jones, Sr., and Helen Wooten Jones. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed playing bingo and slots.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sons, James and Chiee Walton; sister, Marilyn Redd; and brother, Arthur Dillard Jones, Jr Ms. Walton is survived by her daughters, Pamela Walton Sartin, Gwendolyn Walton, and Sheron Walton; sisters, Ella Mae Jones, Shirley Lampkins, and Arnita Brandon (Robert); 16 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 3:00 P. M., at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.

The family will receive friends thirty minutes before the service. Burial will follow at People’s Cemetery, 2nd Street, Martinsville, Virginia. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
