Laurie Ann Dalton, 54, of Bassett, passed away on May 18, 2019 at Sovah Health-Martinsville. She was born on April 22, 1965 in North Carolina to the late Dennis Dalton Sr. and Esther Freeman Dalton. She attended Martinsville Church of Truth.

She loved to color, watch the Discovery Channel and sing. She loved studying the word of God so much that she wrote the entire bible on paper twice. She leaves to cherish her memories daughter, Breanna Chirino (Alexander); two sisters, Pamela Hill (Richard), Wanda Dalton; five brothers, Charles Dalton, Maurice Dalton, Dennis Dalton Jr.(Phillip), Jonathan Dalton(Kimberly) and Toby Richardson.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 7:30 PM at Martinsville Church of Truth, with Pastor Bill Preskitt officiating. Burial will be held at later date privately. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to service.
