Frances Eleanor Wallace, age 88, New Castle resident went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 11, 2019. She was born August 7, 1930 in New Castle a daughter of the late Ernest and Violet Williamson Baker. She was a life long resident of New Castle and a graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School.

She had worked for Modernfold Industries and retired from the U S Postal Service in New Castle after many years of service. Frances was an active member of Park… Read More » Place Community Church where she served as a Board member, Sunday school teacher, and cradles volunteer. She loved spending time with family and her grandchildren.

She enjoyed reading and needlecrafts. Left to cherish her loving memory include her husband, Charles Wallace, two daughters, Cindee Cannon Claspell and her husband James of New Castle, Gretchen Wallace Pendergraft and her husband David of Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter in law Jayne Mastin of Dayton, Ohio, grandchildren Sean Mastin and wife Becca, Brian Mastin and wife Beth, Brad Dalton and wife Dorie. Jeremy Dalton , Katherine Pendergraft, Nathaniel Pendergraft, Andrew Pendergraft, Matthew Pendergraft and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Ernest, Charles and Robert Baker and her son James “Skip” Mastin. Family and friends may call from 10 am to 11 am on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Macer Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Macer Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Rev.
