Francis J. “Frank” Kochanek, Jr. Loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle; Francis J. “Frank” Kochanek, Jr., 73, of Pelham, New Hampshire died Monday morning at the Inn at Fairview in Hudson, New Hampshire. He was the husband of the late Jeanne D. (England) Kochanek who died in 2007. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, August 21, 1945, a son of the late Francis J. and the late Helen J. (Ciemiega) Kochanek, he attended Dracut Schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School in the Class of 1963.

He went on to graduate from Lowell Technological Institute (nka U/Mass Lowell) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. Frank was an analytical chemist for many years at Dow Industries in Marlboro, MA until his retirement. Among his several interests he enjoyed gardening, astronomy and traveling.

Frank is survived by a daughter Paula J. Kamorski and her husband Michael of Levant, ME; a son Francis S. “Frank” Kochanek of Hudson, NH; 8 grandchildren Cody F. Kochanek, Connor R. Kochanek, Cooper R. Kochanek and Collin Kochanek all of Nashua, NH, Laura R. Kamorski, Leah Karmorski, James M. Karmorski and Jacob A. Karmorski all of Levant, ME; a great granddaughter Abigail J. Kochanek; two sisters Alice J. Kochanek of Dracut and Honora Harder of Dillingaham, Alaska; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4 to 7 P.M. Friday.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass to be celebrated Saturday morning at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in PELHAM at 10 o’clock followed by burial in the Gibson Cemetery. E-condolences/directions at www.
