Francis Patrick Egan, January 22, 2019 — January 24, 2019

Francis Patrick Egan of Pittsfield died peacefully in his parents’ arms and surrounded by his grandparents on January 24th, 2019. Francis was born to mother Allison (Hope) Egan and father Luke Egan. Francis spent his 35 hours of life filling the hearts of everyone who met him.

He was born three and a half months early and weighed one pound and twelve ounces. He had his mother’s face and his father’s strength. Francis was given the nicknames “Fancy Francy” and “Frankie” by his mother Allison, and “Fran the Man” by his father, Luke.

While he was alive he was blessed with the love of his parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, as well as many friends near and far. He was cared for by kind and dedicated nurses, doctors and staff at Johns Hopkins All Children’s hospital in St. Petersburgh, Florida. Francis is predeceased by his uncle Gavin Egan and his great grandparents John Egan, Isabelle and Eugene Bagley, Alfred Hope and Francis and Peg Hayes.

He is survived by his parents Luke and Allison Egan, his uncles Cal Egan, Matthew Badalucco, Michael Gerardi, and Dan Hope, as well as his aunts Ruari Egan, Katie Oakley and Gabby Gerardi, by many great aunts and uncles and his grandparents Dan and Peggy Egan, Paul and Lynn Hope, Ann Hayes and Chris Gerardi, and his great grandmothers Virginia Egan and Dorothy Hope. Funeral Notice: Funeral Services and burial at St. Joseph Cemetery for Francis are private.
