Nimick, Frank J., 91 of Scranton, passed away June 16, 2018 at Dunmore Health Care Center. He was born in Dickson City to Francis and Mary Bielinski Nimick. He was a US Navy Veteran and worked many years for Capitol Records, until they moved the company out of the area.

Staying near home, he retired from Hendricks Manufacturing in Carbondale. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Hrywnak Nimick; three sons, David Nimick, Archbald, Mike Hrywnak, Spring Brook and George Hrywnak, Scranton; four grandchildren, Erica, Christopher, Matthew and Zachariah Nimick; great-grandchildren, Reese, James and Amber Nimick and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Donita Poplarchick Nimick, and his brother Edmond Nimick.

Services will be private at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. The family would like to thank the staff at Dunmore Health Care and Celtic Hospice for their care and compassion. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Louis J Rapoch Funeral Home, 420 Church St Archbald.
