Fred W. Pennycoff, 72, of Watsontown, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Watsontown Nursing and Rehab Center where he had been residing since 2014. Born February 27, 1946 in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late Evelyn M. Bridge. Fred was a 1965 graduate of Milton High School and in 1989 he earned his Associates Degree in Business Administration from Hiram G. Andrews Center in Johnstown.

He retired from Sun Com Industries where he worked as a photo technician in the driver’s license centers in Lewisburg, Selinsgrove, Berwick, and Danville. Earlier in life he had worked at Warshaws, Watsontown Brick, and Montgomery Mills. Fred had been a volunteer at the former Kramm Nursing Home, Watsontown and was a member of the advisory committee of United Cerebral Palsy (UCP).

He was a supporter of special Olympics and attended Delaware Run Wesleyan Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Doug Lehman of Sunbury; a son and daughter-in-law, Frederick W., Jr and Marilyn Pennycoff of McEwensville; four grandchildren; a half-brother, Norman Bridge; and four half-sisters: Karen Woolsey, of Mifflinburg, Linda Aaron of North Carolina, Denise Musser, of Watsontown and Cassandra Brown, of Reading; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death besides his mother were his step-father, Paul L. Bridge, a half-sister, Sharon and a half-brother Paul “Junior”.

Per Fred’s wishes there will be no viewing or service. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. In lieu of flowers, it was Fred’s request that contributions in his memory be made to either Delaware Run Wesleyan Church, 5570 Musser Lane, Watsontown, PA 17777 or the United Cerebral Palsy at www.
