G. Donn’s Obituary G. Donn White, age 71 passed away on January 31, 2019 after a brief battle with cancer. He died with his Beloved wife Dianna and daughters by his side. Donn was born on October 31, 1947, in Watonga, OK to Doyle and Louise White.

They raised their family on a farm in Geary, OK where Donn graduated from High School in 1965. Donn was a member of the First Baptist Church and active in the community. He married his high school sweetheart, Dianna Rae White on September 9, 1984.

Donn was fortunate; he discovered his purpose early in life with his forever-career in Law Enforcement, where he dedicated 32 years of his life to serving and protecting others. His career started in Oklahoma and eventually took him to Alaska in 1985. Donn served as Deputy Sheriff, Chief Investigator, Chief of Police, and Department Director of Public Safety.

He received the Law Enforcement Purple Heart from the North Slope Borough for being injured in the line of duty on April 4th, 1994. Although he returned to Oklahoma, his heart was forever in Alaska. We can smile knowing Donn entered into heaven in his signature look – cowboy boots, jeans, and a white western shirt.

He is reuniting with family and friends, telling stories, reading to his heart’s content and enjoying bluegrass music. He will savor steak cooked to perfection and continue to hate vegetables. Donn never met a stranger, was a good friend to all and would help anyone in need.

Even in his last days, he was more concerned for others and reassured family it was all in God’s hands. He is preceded in death by parents, Louise and Doyle White; brothers, Dale and Butch White; and nephew, Michael White. Donn is survived by loving his wife, Dianna R. White of Yukon, OK; children, Shelli Richhart of Oklahoma City, OK and son-in-law Ron Richhart of Denver, CO, Terri Whitworth and husband Steven of Lindsey, OK, Angela Purcer and husband Edward of Yukon, OK, and Lisha Crytzer and husband Jason of Edmond, OK; Donn was Beloved Poppy to 8 grandchildren: Jere Moore and husband Julian Miranda of Houston, TX, Zachary Eisenhour of Yukon, OK, Jordan and Justin Whitworth of Lindsey, OK, Kaitlin Duggan of Yukon, OK, Mason Purcer of Yukon, OK, and London and Laine Crytzer of Edmond, OK and 2 great grandchildren, James and Dharma; He is also survived by his sister, Sandy Atkinson and husband Scott of Fort Gibson, OK; nieces, Lorrie Bierig of Weatherford, OK, and Stacy Carmack of Fort Gibson, OK; nephews, David White of Fort Worth, TX, Scott Carmack of Springfield, MO, and Shonn Carmack of Piedmont, OK, as well as numerous cousins and friends.
