Gale’s Obituary Gale Dennis Murray, 72, passed away on April 18, 2019 at Ava’s House. Gale was born on July 14, 1946 and grew up in Sioux Falls, SD. Gale moved to California soon after marriage to Sheryl K. Clark.

Gale spent many years on the road as a truck driver. He loved taking his kids on the road with him, whenever possible. While in California Gale was an active member of the Huntington’s Beach Elks Lodge, the Sons of Beaches Camper Club.

He also enjoyed Go Cart Racing, camping and fishing with his family and many close friends. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. In 2006 Sheryl and Gale moved back to Sioux Falls, SD.

Gale worked at Walmart until he retired. Gale was survived by his wife of 52 years, Sheryl K. Murray; three children, Shaina (Chris) Pease of Central Point, OR, Shelby Murray Aragron of Albuquerque, MN, Michael John (Sonya) Murray; seven grandchildren, Auggie and Elijah Toppo, Zakary Aragon, Gabriella, Alexa, Syrena and Michael John Jr. Murray, of Aitkin, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Elgin Murray, four brothers; Jack, Bill, Janny and his twin brother Dale, and sister Sandra Roseheim.

Family directed services will take place at the VFW at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2018.
