Gene’s Obituary Gene Mabry Housley, 54, of Denton passed away February 7, 2019 in Denton. He was born November 12, 1964 in Farmers Branch to George Mabry Housley and Freda Sharon Cason. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed at Lockheed Martin.

He was also an artist, a musician an excellent cook, a Godfather, a martial artist, a mentor, an amazing son and dear friend. He loved his country, his dogs and his family. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev.

Sam Redfearn officiating. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Denton.

Gene is survived by his mother, Freda Doerr; sister, Sharon Kimbrough and husband Wallace; nieces, Lauren Kimbrough and Kara Winchester; nephews, Skipper Berend, Pete Kimbrough and Mitchell Kimbrough; cousins, Sheila Cason and Terry Cason; also 6 great-nieces, 1 great nephew as well as other extended family.
