Obituary for George Anthony LaBella Retired SFC George LaBella, 76, born in Brooklyn, New York on 11-18-41 passed away Monday June 11, 2018 at his home in Upton. He was an Army Medic for 23 years and also served 1 tour in Vietnam. He was retired Civil Service after 23 years at Ireland Army Community Hospital as a Podiatry Technician.

He was preceded in death by his Parents Vincent and Conchetta LaBella, one Sister, Marie (Bill) Flaherty, and one Brother, Joe LaBella. He is survived by his loving Wife of 38 years, Ruby M. LaBella of Upton, KY. two Daughters, Theresa (Jim) Conkle of TX, Omega (Brian) Schoup of FL, five Sons, George LaBella of CA, Anthony LaBella of TX, Tony Perkins of Covington, KY, Tom (Julie) Perkins of Sonora, KY, Troy (Donna) Perkins of Leitchfield, KY, 12 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Nieces Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 14, 2018 2:00 pm at Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora, KY With Father Brian Johnson, and Pastor Alicia Akridge officiating.

Burial will be held at the Sonora Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be Wednesday 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm or Thursday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora. Condolences may be expressed on-line at www.
