Gerald Lee Farr June 23, 1945 – March 27, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Gerald Lee Farr, of Troy, MO , formerly of Colorado, passed away at his home on March 27, 2019. He was born on June 23, 1945 in St. Francis, Kansas. He attended the local schools along with his siblings.

He and Glenda (Vaughn) were married on December 20, 1968 in Amarillo, Texas. To this union were born two children; Lois Camille and Stephen Sean. Gerald enlisted in the U.S. Marines in 1966 and was Honorably Dishcarged in 1968.

He was an excellent provider and worked very hard for his family. Gerald was an over the road truck driver for many years. He worked for Beca out of Commerce City, CO and many other companies.

He was also a bus driver for Greyhound and Trailways. Gerald never met a stranger and enjoyed his many travels, but always loved coming home to family and friends. Gerald and Glenda moved to Troy about four years ago and quickly made friends at First Baptist Church of Troy, especially the people in their bible study.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years: Glenda Farr of Troy, two children; Lois Camille and husband James Byerly of Brighton, Co, Stephen Sean and wife Amy of San Antonio, Texas , four grandchildren; Cameron and Nathaniel Byerly, Brooke and Aiden Farr, one sister : Velta Marie and husband Bob Bradshaw of Goodland, Kansas and many other neices, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Stanley Sean Farr and Marion David Farr and one grandson: Logan James Farr . Service information will be pending along with memorial choice.
