Geraldine Kitchen May 06, 1927 – February 11, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Geraldine Kitchen, age 91, of Mayville was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 11, 2019. Geraldine was born May 06, 1927 to the late Herman and Edna (Weiler) Werner in Mayville where she was a lifelong resident. She attended Mayville High School.

Geraldine married Lawrence (Jake) Kitchen on January 13, 1951 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville. She was a proud member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Geraldine loved spending time with her six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening and traveling. Geraldine is survived by two children, Larry (Diane) Kitchen and Gary Kitchen of Mayville; one son-in-law, Douglas Thomas; six grandchildren, Shawndel (Duane) Rayl, Kreg (Michelle) Kitchen, Amy (Jason) Hanley, Amanda (Oscar) Millan, Valerie (Kyle) Galbreath and Mathew (Sara) Kitchen; 12 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Caitlyn and Conner Rayl, Liam and Patrick Hanley, Madeleine Kitchen, Chelsea Millan, Logan and Olivia Galbreath and Aubree, Ayden and Gabriella Kitchen; one sibling, Don (Florence) Werner; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Kitchen in 2005; two brothers, William and Richard Werner; two sisters, Marion Marlow and Margaret Kutzbach; her daughter, Sharon Thomas and her daughter-in-law, Lori Kitchen.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, February 18, 2019 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville with Pastor Terry Balogh officiating. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 AM until time of the service Monday February 18, 2019 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to the United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital.
