Gertrude F. (Jape) Becker, age 100, of Neenah, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2018. Gertrude was born on May 31, 1917 in Neenah, daughter of the late William and Lucille (Stinski) Jape. She was married to Victor Becker and he preceded her in death in 1971.

Gertrude was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bridge. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and volunteered at the blood bank and the Bergstrom Art Center. Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Judy (William) Roemer, her sons, Fr.

John Becker and Mark Becker, her grandchildren, Daniel (Jennifer) Roemer, Mary Bakken, Christine (Troy) Patton, Susan (Brent) Schumacher, Tony (Joanne) Becker, and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Gertrude was preceded in death by a son, Bill and her sisters and brothers. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah with her son, Rev.

John Becker officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha.

A memorial is being established.
