Gertrude H. “Trudy” Engel, 82, of Forbes Road, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. She was born April 13, 1936 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Braha) Kulik. She was a graduate of Duquesne University.

Trudy had been an accountant for PPG and was also an organist at the former St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Forbes Road. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, Crabtree. She also volunteered with Excela Hospice.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Engel in 1987; and two brothers, Timothy and Michael Kulik. She is survived by her step-son, Ronald Engel, of Colorado; three brothers, Glenn Kulik and wife Dolores, of Maryland, Charles Kulik and wife Charlene, of Johnstown, and Daniel Kulik and wife Renee, of Florida; her sister, Karen Drozd and husband John, of New York; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 8:30 to 9:15 AM Saturday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC.

, 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where prayers will begin at 9:15 AM, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, Crabtree. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh. www.
